Madeline's Christmas: MONKEY

There will be two monkeys in the monkey cage. I chose something familiar.

2007/10/25

Madeline's Christmas: TIGER

This shows the basic theory for the "reverse bobble head" : the pivot point (which I should have labeled but did't) is actually near the bottom of the "pendulum." OR, where the neck would be on a real tiger. The tail swings a lot, but the head just gently rocks back and forth.

Show's up; Congrats!

Thank you to all for a marvelous opening, and a good process to get it there.

The Sun Sentinel and Miami New Times have both given us rave reviews; they are linked on the theater's MySpace page, and they should be on the theater's REVIEWS page by now.

We will have a production meeting on Friday at 2pm; this will give everyone time to grab lunch after the morning matinee. We need to catch up on Martha Mitchell Calling and Madeline's Christmas.

Band Rehearsal

(From Dave Nagy, Musical Director.)
Monday night's rehearsal is 7-10. Same space, upstairs rehearsal hall - I will check if the lobby will be open or not, probably not. If that's the case, the best way to get in would be the backstage door, as they will be working on the set and the door should be open.

Thanks for the great work last Monday!

Just a reminder of what Dave Arisco gave us for a rehearsal schedule for this week (besides Monday):

Thursday October 4: 5-10PM. We will be in the pit for the first time, this will be our sitz-probe with the cast, and also sound will be setting levels.

Friday, October 5: 6-11PM

Saturday, October 6: 10AM till 4 or 5PM

Sunday, October 7: 6-11PM

Monday the 8th we'll be off, then Tuesday will be whoever can make it in the afternoon for a run, and then we'll definitely have the dress rehearsal that evening, 8PM downbeat.

Wednesday the 10th ditto, of course that night is first preview, then we'll be on show schedule. Will see you at Monday night's rehearsal, 7-10. Same space, upstairs rehearsal hall - I will check if the lobby will be open or not, probably not. If that's the case, the best way to get in would be the backstage door, as they will be working on the set and the door should be open.

Thanks for the great work last Monday!
