Another sofa option - measure 5'-4" arm to arm - soft white with accents - nice. $150

Leather sofa option - Big lots $300

Judge chair option 1 - was sold with another chair w/o arms

Judge chair option 2 - not a really good one

Hotel table option - it measure 16" X 18" for the top with out the pull up sides (very skinny looking in this photo). It has wheels (as it was a typewriter table) but they can come off (never to be of use again) or perhaps the wheels don't bother you. I love this table (the other side does on have this label across the front) $15

Court chair(s) option - interesting shape I thought - can darken the wood. there are 2 of these for the 2 chairs - does come with a table that is of no use i think (no photo of table) $170 for 2 chairs and table

Bench option 1 - can do something with the cushion - a little small though $100

Bench option 2 - can paint the white to a brown - woven seat. $80

Adoption office chairs option 4 - $45 for pair - I think

Adoption office chairs option 3

Adoption office chairs option 2 - $100 for 4

Adoption Office Chairs Option 1 - $ 65 for pair - or we can pull from your own office stock around Actors for both these guest chairs and the Adoption guys chair - (perhaps a less expensive option)

TBFR props update

Margaret delivered the first load of furniture. David has realized that a full sized sofa is too large for the space we need, and Margaret's going to take a look at larger love seats. We will also have a focus towards a matched furniture set for the Miami living room set.

The armchair looks great, but we need to make sure that it fits in the space we have; David is concerned that it may intrude into the path of the SR slider panel. The chair is 27" wide. Chris and Carl need a ground plan showing the path of the sliders.

The desk didn't work out: once Margaret went in to buy it, she discovered that it had no back to it, and not any easy way to add on. Apparently this was built in against a wall, and the side against the wall is very unfinished. So she will continue the desk search.

Margaret's also going to get a better picture of the "goldish" chairs, as she feels these would work well in the Hotel room.

This is the picture she had, but doesn't really indicate size. It's a set of four that come with a table. She feels these chairs are about the same size as the bentwoods being used in rehearsal.

[Perhaps the table will work as the Judges desk?]

TBFR Judges stuff

Chair:
Dave and Gene both agreed a pair of these chairs would work in judges' chamber, but not as the judge's chair. But for the chairs facing the judge, this would work as a nice change from the orphanage chairs. If there is a pair, great, but this is optional.

Judge's bench/desk:
Gene thinks this table would work well for the judge's "bench", but David is concerned that it may be too tall to actually sit at. I pointed out that a judge's bench probable does want to be a little higher, and Dave allowed that it could depend on how high the chair behind it is.

UNDERSTOOD BETSY set drawings II

The Schoolhouse. Based on the ubiquitous "Little Red Schoolhouse" of yore.
There will be a potbelly stove and a stool riding with the schoolhouse. A dunce cap next to the stool is optional. There is a practical panel door in this piece. this unit will play midstage, just right of center. The Farmhouse/Kitchen. The sink is directly below the window. Cheery curtains will fram the window. A table and chairs will be set seperately to complete the scene. This unit plays in "three", with the offstage edge by the portal.

'Lias' house. This will be painted to look like weathed and unpainted wood. A HEDGE pulled from stock will be set DL for the girls to hide behind. We may add a fence or a stump up by the house. The window has one pane replace with a board, and burlap sacks for curtains.

POLICY CHANGE: Laundry room

This policy affects the Costume Shop and Wardrobe Department.

After learning that a recent fire at a spa was caused by an unattended dryer, Barbara has set a policy that dryers may not be left running at the end of the day. In other words, whoever puts that last load in the dryer must stay in the building until the drying cycle is complete. This is not optional, and compliance is expected.

Here's a list of dryer fire articles for 2007; and here's a government sanctioned dryer safety sheet

Thank you for your cooperation.
